Rigorous. That's what I can say about the testing I have done on these innocent-looking little pies. I say that because they sure can be stubborn about those seams staying closed and the dough coming out tender, not to puffy.
Anyone who has ever been lucky enough to have their hands on one of these hand pies, these fatayer, homemade will tell you: you definitely want one, then two, then three!
They go down easy. Try them! They're fun (with my tips), verrrry delicious, and you can fill them however you like. The classics are spinach-onion and meat-onion, along with pine nuts.
