The following GAIN reports were released on November 29, 2024. _______     New Zealand: Food Service - Hotel Restaurant Institutional Annual The Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional (HRI) sector is seeing signs of recovery in New Zealand (NZ). However, aches and pains still exist. Meanwhile, NZ continues to recover from a cost-of-living crisis, which sadly caused restaurants to close their doors. At the same time, large hotel chains have developed a couple of new luxury hotels in the main cities. NZ's open borders have increased tourism, giving a healthy boost to the HRI industry. NZ imports of U.S. consumer-oriented products have decreased slightly over the year. However, this decrease is due to "over-ordering" caused by freight and logistics challenges during the COVID years.   Pakistan: Cotton and Products Update The cotton production forecast for 2024/25 has been revised downward to 5.2 million bales, with the area unchanged at 2 million hectares.
