LOCAL PRODUCE APPRECIATION POST !! Yorkshire Preserves Co.'s preserves are made with the freshest ingredients to create a unique combination of flavours. They make jams, pickles, chutneys, marmalades, relishes, conserves, sauces, and curds, using traditional recipes and modern techniques to bring out the best, delicious flavour in each jar. These products are perfect for adding flavour to meals, snacks, and desserts.
I was kindly gifted an amazing goody bag full of preserves, sauces, chutneys, and more from this local family-run business based in Sheffield.
Over the past month or so, I've enjoyed a few of these already;
Jalapeno Chilli Jam - I've used this in spaghetti dishes (check out a Veggie recipe I used this in here) and with some cheese
Habanero Chilli Sauce - a fave of ours, it's lovely and warmingly spicy. We've had it with chicken and rice dishes and dipped some freezer snacks in it too!
Moonshine Pale Ale Chutney - nice and tangy, this goes well with a proper chunky meat pie
Pimm's Mixed Berry Conserve - lovely on some buttery Tiger loaf toast
I'm looking forward to trying the Tomato & Chilli relish in an upcoming burger recipe, AND I'm so excited to open the Chocolate & Cherry Curd... maybe on some pancakes??!!! As festive cheeseboard season is soon coming up too, I'm sure the rest of these are going to be enjoyed pretty swiftly.
What would you most like to try?
