I am hearing from kind friends among you asking about our people and makers in Lebanon. Thank you. In my extended family, many reside in southern Lebanon. They have been steadily leaving the village. Among our wonderful makers, we are told that for some, there will not be a harvest this year amid the conditions. We hope and pray for peace.
This week I have a favorite menu with one of my mother's most often-made recipes for Oven Fried Chicken. Very simple, very delicious, and a family favorite, this chicken is a part of my own many-times-a-month rotation.
Scroll down to get the details and what to serve along with it, as well as a fresh recipe for Date Nut Bread that is a comfort with a cup of tea.
We're so happy to see you stocking up on Lebanese Extra Virgin Olive Oil. It is world-class Mediterranean goodness. We will continue to offer as much of this EVOO as possible and will keep you posted as we go.
Bless your hands,
Oven Fried Chicken.
Healthier than deep frying, oven fry for juicy-crisp chicken. The method is simple with just one dredge in seasoned flour. Bake until golden, and enjoy.
