We'll highlight the dishes that hold a special place in our hearts, giving you a peek into our family traditions and the meals and treats we love most. This month, we're kicking things off with our favorite cakes! Growing up, our mom made each of us a cake on our birthday, and those sweet memories are ones we cherish. ❤️ Liz always chose German Chocolate Cake, and I always chose Carrot Cake!  Liz has always had a soft spot for German Chocolate Cake. The rich, chocolatey layers paired with that decadent coconut-pecan frosting—there's just nothing like it. It's a perfect blend of flavors that never fails to bring back sweet memories. | |  Carrot Cake has always been my go-to. There's something about the combination of warm spices, moist cake, and that creamy cream cheese frosting that feels like a cozy hug in dessert form. It's a classic that I could never resist, and it's a staple in our family celebrations. |
