What's an email-only recipe, you ask? It's an exclusive recipe that I'm only sharing with those who are on my email list, aka YOU! This recipe won't be on the blog, and instead will live here in this email. I'll be sending out email-only recipes at the beginning of every month.
I wanted to share this Tiramisu Cups recipe with you! OH WOW this recipe is AMAZING! If you love chocolate and coffee or are a fan of tiramisu in general, this recipe is for YOU! And it's so easy and quick to make. What more could you want from a dessert?!
Full recipe below, and step-by-step photos below that. Enjoy!
Tiramisu Cups
Ingredients:
¾ cup brewed espresso coffee, cooled
2 tbsp coffee flavored liqueur
1 cup whipped cream
1 tsp instant espresso powder
½ cup powdered sugar
8 oz. mascarpone cheese (1 cup)
1 tsp vanilla extract
12 Italian ladyfingers, halved
cocoa powder for dusting
chopped chocolate for topping (optional)
Directions:
- In a shallow dish, mix the coffee and coffee liqueur together. Set aside.
- Mix together the whipped cream, espresso powder, and powdered sugar in a large bowl. Set aside.
- Mix the mascarpone cheese and vanilla extract together and then add to the whipped cream mixture and mix together until stiff peaks are formed. Do not overmix.
- Grab the ladyfingers and soak them in the coffee mixture and then set inside a dessert glass or ramekin. Cover ladyfingers until the bottom of each glass is filled. Then top with a layer of the whipped cream. Repeat this process once more so there are two layers of ladyfingers and whipped cream.
- Cover the glasses with plastic wrap and place in the fridge to set for at least two hours. Remove from the fridge and sift cocoa powder over the top of the tiramisu cups. Optional: top each tiramisu cup with chopped chocolate. Enjoy!
I hope you love this recipe as much as I did! If you're not already, be sure to follow along on Instagram, and of course let me know if you try this recipe!
