I constantly get asked what my favorite gluten free noodles are, so I thought I'd share my answers with you today in case you're curious too!
For soups: Like my Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup, I prefer a corn/rice blend like Barilla gluten free pasta, as they don't usually bloat and break down in the hot broth.
For stir fries: Like my Chicken Pad Thai, I like Thai Kitchen thin rice noodles. I much prefer these to wider rice noodles, which can get gloopy and stick together.
For cold noodle dishes: Like my Best Pasta Salad, I like brown rice-based pasta like Jovial gluten free pastas. Brown rice pasta is much softer than a corn/rice blend, so it doesn't get as hard and crumbly once refrigerated.
For thick noodles: Like my Homestyle Chicken & Noodles, it doesn't get better than homemade. It is so much easier than you think - all you need is gluten free flour, salt, eggs, and water!
