Danish actor and humanitarian Connie Nielsen joins FP’s Her Power Summit on Thursday, December 1, as part of a dynamic conversation on the challenges facing women living in slums around the world and the work her NGO, the Human Needs Project, is doing in Nairobi, Kenya to address some of these issues.
The conversation, which will also feature one of her NGO colleagues, Jackline Oyugi, will provide a glimpse into the lives of women who struggle daily to meet basic human needs in the slums of Kibera, where access to clean toilets, showers, electricity and education have historically been a luxury.
