Creating Custom Tables Using the American Community Survey Public Use Microdata Sample The Census Bureau's American Community Survey (ACS) Public Use Microdata Sample (PUMS) files enable data users to create custom estimates and tables that are not available through ACS pre-tabulated data products. This webinar will introduce the ACS PUMS files and provide several different ways to access them, including downloading the files, using the Microdata Access Tool in data.census.gov, and the exploring the new PUMS Application Programming Interface (API).
