Last December, a few weeks before Christmas, Ben and I took a short trip to New York City for a quick getaway. Visiting the city during the holidays has been on my bucket list for as long as I can remember, and the trip was an absolute dream come true.
From seeing an off Broadway show, to taking a ferry from Brooklyn back to Manhattan (aka a $2.75 water cruise of the city - BEST deal in NYC!) and dining at an all gluten free restaurant, we filled every waking moment with something memorable.
Speaking of the gluten free restaurant, my meal there was so memorable that I decided to recreate it at home, and Creamy Mushroom Parmesan Pasta is where I landed. Ben has declared it my best recipe yet, and I have to say that I agree (sorry, Cinnamon Rolls!) It is just SO good, and I can't wait for you to taste this restaurant quality dish, at home.
