Virtual Public Workshop – Join the FDA and the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) to Discuss 3D Printing in Hospitals The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is announcing a public workshop in collaboration with the VHA, 3D Printing in Hospitals: Veterans Health Administration's Experiences in Point of Care 3D Printing of Device and Implementing Quality Management System. During this workshop, the VHA and other stakeholders will share their experiences using 3D printing or manufacturing in point of care settings. This workshop is also an opportunity for the VHA to discuss their efforts to implement a quality management system for 3D printing devices in their hospitals. 3D printing at the point of care may provide for patient-matched devices and anatomical models for surgical planning. This technology has the potential to help a healthcare facility quickly respond to patient needs, bring personalized care to patients in a timely manner, and lead to new innovations in patient care and treatment. - Virtual Workshop Date: March 16-17, 2022 12:00-5:30 pm ET
