Hey there!
When I started my weight loss journey, I followed the notion that I could eat whatever I wanted as long as I stayed within my calorie limit. And, to be honest, it worked. As long as I tracked every bite, lick, and sip, I lost weight.
However, over the years, I learned more about food, specifically clean eating. Clean eating is simply choosing foods closest to their natural form, so not processed.
And guess what?
I discovered that choosing clean, high-quality foods over processed foods not only made me feel better, they kept me fuller longer, which made it easier for me to lose weight.
And believe it, or not clean recipes were easy to make and tasted amazing! I'm not sure why I always thought healthy recipes equaled tasteless, dry salads. Thankfully, I was wrong.
Now let's add meal prep into the equation. This is where the magic happens. Having delicious healthy recipes made ahead of time is key to starting and sticking to healthy eating habits.
