PREVIEW TEXT GOES HERE Grilled BBQ Chicken | | | | We have a running joke about chicken in my family. Whenever I say we're having chicken for dinner, my husband says, "Chicken again?" and then rattles off a seemingly endless list of chicken dinners his mother used to make: "Chicken Parm, chicken cutlets, chicken stir-fry, chicken casserole, chicken pot pie" and so on. The kids jump right on the bandwagon, groaning about all my chicken dinners. What they don't realize is that this only makes me even more determined to change their minds about chicken. You could almost say I'm on a Chicken Crusade! Luckily, these easy BBQ chicken breasts always win everybody over. They are absolutely loaded with smoky barbecue flavor. I guarantee clean plates all around. Winner, winner chicken dinner! | READ MORE | | Homemade BBQ Sauce | | | | You can buy a tasty barbecue sauce at the supermarket, but it really is so easy to make your own. My kids put this sweet, tangy, smoky homemade BBQ sauce on just about everything. It's a classic Kansas City-style BBQ sauce made from ketchup, brown sugar, molasses, cider vinegar, and spices, and it's delicious slathered on grilled chicken or ribs. Because of the high sugar content in the sauce, it's best to use brush it on the meat towards the very end of the cooking time so that it doesn't burn. Feel free to double the recipe if you'd like to make extra; the sauce keeps well in the refrigerator for up to one week. | READ MORE | | | | Father's Day Desserts | | | | Be Inspired | | | | | | WHAT YOU'RE SAYING | | "Oh my, these were delicious! I used dried mint from last summer's garden instead of fresh, and scallions instead of shallots. The panade must have been the secret. Burgers were well done, but soft and juicy, yet they held together well. Yum yum yum." —KATIE | | | | | | | |
