4th of July Recipes

The 4th of July is next weekend. I can't believe it! It is time to start buying those fireworks and planning your cookout! Today I am sharing 23 of our all-time favorite 4th of July recipes. I have appetizers, main dishes, side dishes, and desserts. There is something for everyone!!! PLUS all the recipes are easy to make and lots can be made ahead of time too!!

I know some of you don’t own a grill. So here are a few tips on cooking meats inside on the stove and oven.

To cook chicken and pork chops inside, I like to pan sear it on both sides for about 3 or 4 minutes and then transfer it to the oven and bake for 10 minutes at 400ºF. The internal temperature for the chicken needs to be 165ºF and 145ºF for pork chops.

For steaks, check out our guide for cooking steaks in the cast iron skillet: https://www.plainchicken.com/steakhouse-filets/

Burgers are also great in the cast iron skillet: https://www.plainchicken.com/cast-iron-skillet-burgers/
