Dear reader,
Let's face it, snacking is fun. What is my favorite snack? Oh my goodness, I LOVE peanut butter. (By the way, these peanut butter oatmeal cookies are so simple & yummy!)
The problem is, many snacks out there are unhealthy. Especially if they're supermarket pre-packaged products.
Sometimes we may THINK they're healthy because the labeling might say things like 'organic,' or 'all natural,' but there could be a sneaky ton of sugar and additives.
But I am here to tell you that snack foods can actually be healthy!
How? There are two ways.
1. They can be made with REAL food.
Not only does making your own quick & easy snacks save you money, but you get to control what ingredients go into your snack recipes. Trust me, your kids will even prefer them over the expensive packaged convenience food snacks!
