Making ice cream from scratch is easier than you might realize. My ice cream recipes require only a few ingredients, are easy to customize, and include step-by-step directions. Because of this, homemade ice cream is a favorite summer dessert and activity in my house. My whole family loves the indulgent flavors we can create as well as the process of blending the ingredients and churning them into a thick, scoopable ice cream.
If you’re looking to try your hand at homemade ice cream, check out my entire ice cream catalog. You may want to start with classics like vanilla or chocolate ice cream, but you can also get creative with unique flavors like pumpkin or cake batter. A lot of my recipes use an ice cream maker, but if you don’t have one, you can follow the steps in my no-churn vanilla ice cream. Don’t be afraid to add different flavorings and mix-ins to create your own signature frozen treat. I’ve added some fresh ice cream flavors below that I’ll be making all summer!
