Welcome to Day 8 of our 12 Days of Cookies for 2025. Wow, yesterday's email was kind of a mess. Sorry about that! If you've been reading my emails the past few days, you know the schpiel. 😂 I am so excited to share each of these recipes with you. I love all of them and think they'll make great treats for sharing with family, friends, neighbors, teachers, first responders, co-workers, and who ever else you choose to gift or serve them to. I also think they'll be beautiful additions to cookie trays and perfect for your annual cookie exchange, too.
Day 8
Brown Butter Shortbread. Yeah, it's a thing. And a good thing at that, too! With just three ingredients, butter, sugar, and flour, you can make a tasty treat for Christmas or one to enjoy any time of year.
The nutty brown butter flavor takes an otherwise simple, yet delicious standard shortbread to the next level. As a friend said when I share them with her, "they literally melt in your mouth. You need to sell these!" 😂 Love you, Kim!
Just so you're aware, I'll be sending an email every day for the next 5 days with each day's cookie with a final round up on the 13th day.
