One month to go until mandatory identify verification  From 18 November 2025, if you're a company director or a person with significant control (PSC), you must verify your identity with Companies House by your due date. The Companies House register will be updated on 18 November 2025 to show the due dates for each role you hold. Verify your identity now to avoid delays. Stop! Think Fraud campaign The Stop! Think Fraud campaign helps individuals and small businesses to protect themselves from fraud. By taking a moment to stop, think and check when you receive or see suspicious communications, or adding an extra layer of security to your online accounts with two-step verification, you can help to protect yourself. The campaign includes a dedicated section to help people protect their business from fraud, including: The National Cyber Security Centre launches the Cyber Action Toolkit The Cyber Action Toolkit is a free, personalised cyber security tool from the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC). It's designed for sole traders and small organisations. The toolkit breaks down cyber security into simple, achievable steps. You can work at your own pace, and it tracks your progress as you go. It helps protect your business's money and reputation from cyber criminals. |
