friday morning coffee.my simplest, cozy "I don't want to cook" dinner, plus how to elevate your pumpkin today!I can’t believe it’s the end of October - my mind is blown! Between the kids’ class parties and carving pumpkins and getting costumes ready and all the fun stuff, it’s been the best week ever. I’ve made multiple loaves of jalapeño cheddar sourdough too - I can’t stop. We love it so much and it’s the best soup dipper. I’ve also been making toasty sandwiches with it, filled with rotisserie chicken, arugula, roasted red peppers and havarti. To die for! Since the sourdough takes about 48 hours from start to finish, I just have a rotation going every other day. I freeze loaves for us (or everyone eats it all) and I give them away. It is such a satisfying process! The other thing I’ve been doing this week: getting in full Thanksgiving prep mode. No, not for work or anything, but for real life. I adore hosting Thanksgiving and I plan ahead a full three to four weeks to make the actual week of (and day of) easy and stress-free.
