Welcome to my monthly love letter, where I tell you everything I adore at the moment! EATINGMy one pan lemon chicken and couscous. This super easy black bean chili! My autumn pasta salad too. Oh the flavor! DRINKINGA pomegranate aperol spritz is the only acceptable drink at the moment! Unless you’re making a salted maple protein coffee. MAKINGOur favorite cheeseburger soup. While this doesn’t look beautiful, my family LOVES this. It’s truly one of their favorite meals. BAKINGMy caramel pretzel skillet cookie. Oh how this is a dream! Also, my jalapeño cheddar cornbread. If you’re making chili, this is a must try! CRAVINGPumpkin scones with espresso glaze. These might be the best ones I have ever had. SNACKINGOn my double chocolate zucchini muffins. We still have lots of zucchini to use up. GRILLINGMy hot honey BBQ smoked sausage skewers. Great with rice. READINGI just started reading The Irish Goodbye. I love a good family drama! LISTENINGI’ve still had this cozy autumn playlist on repeat for weeks. I add songs to it everyday! WEARINGIt’s jeans season and my favorite by far are still the frame le slim palazzo. They are so stretchy and comfortable. And my transition from summer to fall shoes: the leopard block sandal, the leopard kitten heel slide and the leopard mary jane. Can you tell I love all things leopard?! WATCHINGI am loving Task on HBO right now. Really keeps you in suspense! BUYINGIf you’re looking for super cozy cool weather sweats, the aerie offline cloud fleece line is INCREDIBLE. It is so soft and washes great. I usually steer clear from aerie because it feels a little young for me. These are solid colors and such great quality. And there is usually a sale! The deep earth color is my fave. LOVINGIf you have dry skin, the hanni splash salve is wonderful. You put it on in the shower and lightly rinse off. It leaves an amazing layer of hydration on your skin. I also love their shower scarf! And I’ve used the fatty stick forever. Just a rec from your very dry skinned friend. SHOPPINGI’ve been using MZ wallace bags for over a decade - the metro tote was my first diaper bag over ten years ago. There are so many small bags that I use and love, like this double zip cosmetic and the accordion cosmetic bag. These last FOREVER. The mini jewelry accordion is also so great for travel - nothing gets tangled.I want to add this bordeaux large cosmetic as well, mostly to hold my skincare. I’m still following the skin flooding method and love it. SHARINGThis is the time of year when I break out my fall and holiday notes guide! So hear me out: the fall is a very busy time for us because it’s when the majority of family birthdays happen, in addition to all of the holidays, of course. Years ago, I started keeping a giant google doc of notes for the season. This saves me every year. This document has everything in it from what I served at a party, what kind of classroom holiday treat bags I did in previous years, my thanksgiving menu and if I would/wouldn’t make something again, our holiday plans the previous year, etc. It is pages long and I make an effort to take notes each season! It helps so much. xo You're currently a free subscriber to Curated Cravings. For the full experience, upgrade your subscription. |
