Oh my gosh it's a big week here.... Tuesday is the official release of Lebanese Baking! I'm excited, nervous, all of it. The reigning sentiment, though, is gratitude.
Your pre-order of the book is easier than ever right now, because you won't have to wait long to get it! You can order right here and help show the world how much we love our Lebanese recipes--plus have it in your hands on Tuesday. I've been sharing "unboxing" clips on my Stories on social (check out my great-niece Lara Shaheen's reaction in Stories right now!! THE cutest thing!!!). I would love to see your unboxing reactions too! Tag me when you do. THANK YOU!
LOVE seeing everyone receive their Lebanese Baking books!
This week I have a favorite menu with one of my mother's most often-made recipes for Oven Fried Chicken. Very simple, very delicious, and a family favorite, this chicken is a part of my own frequent rotation.
Scroll down to get the details and what to serve along with it, as well as a fresh recipe for Date Nut Bread that is a comfort with a cup of tea.
I'll be back with you this week to share the special things happening to celebrate the book and to get all of us into Lebanese baking.
Bless your hands,
Oven-Fried Chicken
Healthier than deep frying, oven fry for juicy-crisp chicken. The method is simple with just one dredge in seasoned flour. Bake until golden, and enjoy.
Simple and delicious. Try a slice slathered with cream cheese and jam, a fall favorite with cup of coffee or tea. This makes a lovely gift-bread; there's a story about that here too.
