friday morning coffee.the marry me cauliflower I can't stop making, a must listen and your weekend cheat sheet.I’ve been back in major sourdough mode this week! The weather is finally COLD and soup + sourdough season is in full swing. I made three traditional sourdough loaves this week and one dark chocolate chunk. I have to say, the dark chocolate was slightly… underwhelming. I mean, don’t get me wrong - I’m eating it. But it’s not as fabulous as I expected. The traditional ones are, of course, incredible. It’s hard to believe that I’ve had my starter now for nearly two years. The only reason I’ve been successful with this is due to the sourhouse goldie. It keeps the starter at a consistent (warm!) temperature. And that is huge because we keep our house very cold at all times. I never had success with a starter before this. Anyway! Enough sourdough talk. I’m also in crazy calendar mode from now until the end of the year. I was trying to get our calendar situated last night with all of our plans, the holiday activities and school stuff, sports and more. I really want to have a favorite things party this year, so I’m trying to find a reasonable date for it. I have wanted to have one for years and I’m excited to actually do it. It’s like I’m bringing my monthly favorites to life! In other news, I started putting together some of my amazon gift guides and these are what I swear by! My traditional gift guides will be on the blog soon - this is such a fun time for me. I truly curate these all year long and adore gift giving. P.S. This is the view outside of my kitchen windows and I just can’t get over it! So beautiful.
