Hii reader,
Egg bites are the new breakfast rage! I've seen them at Starbucks and Tim Hortons, prepackaged in the grocery stores, and you can even purchase them online! Egg bites could be a good choice if you're searching for a low-carb fast food option.
The problem.
✔️ You don't control the ingredients. So, these won't be a good option if you're gluten-free or trying to eat a cleaner diet.
✔️ They are EXPENSIVE! Two egg bites can run you up to $5! What?! That is $35 a week, $140 a month if you go daily. That's outrageous.
Good news. You can make egg bites at home.
4 reasons you'll love making homemade egg bites.
π Let's start with cheap. Even if you buy the highest quality organic ingredients from the most expensive grocery store, it's still cheaper than purchasing pre-made egg bites.
π Super easy to make. Whisk the eggs, pour them into a muffin pan, and bake. Breakfast for the week is ready in about 30 minutes.
π Low carb and high protein. These homemade egg bites will keep you full all morning and are also great for afternoon snacks.
π Meal prep campaign. You can make these on Sunday to have ready for the week or make a triple batch to freeze for the month.
