I was happy to have visited recently with the family. The restaurant itself is beautiful! Large, modern, expansive and thoughtfully decorated. I was initially greeted by a young host who asked me "how can I help you" which I always find awkward. I always think it's a trick question. Initial bread service was excellent! A nice sized warm, crusty Italian loaf, seemingly fresh baked. Served with sides of butter or oil & vinegar. The butter was in little foil packets which I found somewhat tacky. I did ask for extra bread but they never brought more. They did however leave the empty basket on the table the whole time. I ordered the Beef Lasagna which was outstanding. A nice sized portion which came out bubbly hot, just how I like it. The lasagna here is very meat forward. I would have liked it to be a little more cheesy inside. I also requested a side add of one sausage and one meatball. Both were tasty, hot and served in a dish with their rich, zesty red sauce. The service overall here is universally amateurish which is a sad mismatch for such a stunning establishment.  | | | |
