Article Icon 1Milton Grows to a Category 5 Hurricane

Tropical Storm Milton rapidly strengthened on Monday, going from a Category 1 hurricane to a Category 5 hurricane with sustained winds of 180 mph in just a few hours.

According to the National Hurricane Center (NHC), Milton's intensity today should be dictated by eyewall replacement cycles, which will likely cause the system to gradually weaken but grow larger.

The NHC has issued hurricane watches and warnings across portions of Florida, warning that coastal areas could be overwhelmed by life-threatening storm surges, flooding rain, and damaging winds.

Milton is forecast to remain an "extremely dangerous" hurricane as it reaches Florida's west coast.

Hurricane Milton is expected to make landfall on Wednesday evening near Florida’s central Gulf Coast as a Category 3 or 4 storm. It could be the worst storm Tampa Bay has seen in a lifetime.

Widespread evacuation orders are underway in Florida. As many as 15 million people are under flood watches across the peninsula, and 11 million are at risk for tropical tornadoes today and tomorrow.

Tampa International Airport suspended service this morning at 9 a.m., while Florida ports are also suspending shipments. Three other public airports managed by the Hillsborough County Aviation Authority will close at the same time.

Article Icon 1'Stop WOKE' Case Could Cost State $750,000

Florida could pay nearly $750,000 in legal fees for businesses that successfully challenged part of a 2022 law that Gov. Ron DeSantis dubbed the “Stop WOKE Act.”

Citing a “resounding victory,” the businesses' attorneys filed a motion Friday seeking $749,642 in fees and $41,144 in additional costs related to the lengthy legal battle.

In August, Chief U.S. District Judge Mark Walker ruled that the plaintiffs were entitled to seek fees, clearing the way for Friday’s detailed motion. The state faces an Oct. 28 to respond to the request.

The underlying case involved a challenge to part of the state law that placed restrictions on addressing race-related issues in workplace training.

200% Revenue Growth: Get In Before Their Planned Nasdaq Listing

Natural solutions are already better for the environment. But Med-X is taking it a step further: Their natural pesticides outperform various chemical alternatives. That’s already led to 200% revenue growth in five years, thanks to e-commerce partnerships with companies like Walmart, Amazon, and Kroger

For a limited time, you can invest in Med-X as they prepare for their Nasdaq listing under the ticker ‘MXRX.’

The scary reality is that chemical pesticides can often be more dangerous than the pests themselves. That’s why Med-X created their flagship product, Nature-Cide, using only essential oils from clove, cottonseed, cedar, and cinnamon.

Following rapid success in the US, they’re now on the path to scaling their brand into 41 new global markets, including:

  • Australia

  • New Zealand

  • Southeast Asia

  • Africa

  • Mexico

  • And more

The $17B global pesticides market is projected to 3X in size by the end of the decade, so there’s no better time to join them as an investor. Learn more and see how you can become an early Med-X shareholder ahead of their planned Nasdaq listing.
