Hi reader,
I can hardly believe I'm about to say this, but Thanksgiving is around the corner!
It's time to start thinking about holiday plans and meals.
This season can come with a wide variety of emotions and activity and while I can't help you with all of that, I can help you save money on a healthy holiday feast!
It's what I love to do so let's dive on in:
The number one recommendation I have for saving money, time, and sanity when it comes to food is make a meal plan. Holidays are no exception!
To help you with that is this Budget–Friendly Thanksgiving Meal Plan. It includes the turkey, healthy side dishes, and even dessert. Plus you'll find some stress-saving tips to give you some peace of mind as you cook the big meal!
Next up are these Thanksgiving Budget Savings Tips where I break down some of the pricing to look for, how to set a budget for Thanksgiving, and ideas on how to shop smart.
This time of year you will start to see a lot of holiday sales on baking goods. Here's a list of the best foods to stock up on when the prices are low.
If you aren't careful, a holiday meal can break your monthly grocery budget. A few extra tips to help keep your money in check include:
- Eat super super cheap meals for a couple weeks.
- Make a separate holiday meal budget.
- Don't be afraid to ask company to bring a dish to share. (Be specific!)
- Plan fewer or simpler side dishes.
I know we have a few weeks to go until Thanksgiving is here, but I wanted to get these in your hands ahead of time so you can start planning. A well planned meal saves you in more ways than one!
ALL my best ♥,
PS: I have TWO big sales coming up from a couple of my favorite vendors. (Better than Black Friday deals!) Yet I don't want to crowd your inbox if you aren't interested.
So, if you DO want to hear about them, click below and I'll send you the right emails. (The link below takes you to my reviews!)
