Women's History Month

Women's Roles in Antebellum America

In honor of Women's History Month, give your students the opportunity to learn about women's rights issues in the Antebellum Period with our history activity, Women's Roles in Antebellum America. This activity takes students back in time by having them examine an 1850 Census questionnaire and an 1851 political cartoon to better understand issues women faced during this era.
