3 ingredients! Whip, shape, bake and you're there, enjoying the finest butter cookie you can imagine.
~ You asked for this one, and I'm so glad! ~ Graybeh butter cookies are the darling of our cookie recipes. A butter cookie so tantilizing it's often called a "meltaway" cookie for its delicate texture. This is achieved with just three ingredients! Sometimes we add more (orange blossom water, salt) but the traditional cookie is achieved with ingredients you likely already have on hand. I love it when you ask me to show you how-to, and this is one I've been asked about often. I agree, there's nothing like seeing how any recipe is made to help us get it right. Here's my new video on YouTube for how to make graybeh butter cookies, a tradition we most definitely want to keep alive! Come over to Instagram as well for my short takes on this and all of our Lebanese favorites. And scroll down here to see an array of the many graybeh recipes I've developed for us all to enjoy. | |
Lavender Orange Blossom Graybeh. (I do these more golden than traditional light bake.)
