The first full weekend of Summer is coming up. July 1 is Postal Worker Day and Postage Stamp Day and Canada Day. June is Caribbean-American Heritage Month, Dairy MonthGreat Outdoors Month, Housing MonthOcean Month, and Pride Month.

Summer 2021: June 20-September 22

In the U.S., summer 2021 began with the Summer Solstice on June 20 at 11:32 p.m. EDT and will end with the Autumnal Equinox on September 22 at 3:21 p.m. EDT.

Canada Day: July 1

The Census Bureau's International Data Base estimates the July 1, 2021, population of Canada at 37.9M (4.2 people per sq. km) and the U.S. at 332.5M (36.3).

American Housing Month: June

The 2019 American Community Survey counted 139.69 million housing units, up 1.15 million from 2018, and up 7.90 million from 131.79 million in 2010.

LGBTQIA+ Pride Month: June

The 2019 American Community Survey estimated there were 980,276 same-sex couple households in the U.S., and of them, 58% (568,110) were married couples.
