Sure, sure, there are those among us who maybe don't, like, looove chickpeas [*cough cough* ahem…👋].
But some of those same skeptical troopers may have decided to forge on, to try the humble chickpea inside a spicy saucy treatment of crushed fire-roasted tomatoes and a couple generous scoops of harissa paste, to give them a mash or two so they are just a little less...chickpea-y.
Then they tucked in a handful of golden raisins to plump up for some surprise bites of sweetness among the heat. And THEN those same food geniuses thought, "This, THIS is the time for whipped feta!" And they were so right, friends. What a glorious way to chickpea.
