Hey hey reader!
Summer is here, and the kids are officially home. Ha! Who am I kidding? They've been home ALL YEAR! But now, school is out, and they are in the summer mindset.
And by summer mindset, I mean looking for snacks all day long!
My kids are 16 and 14 now, so I've learned my lesson the hard way many times that if I don't take time to stock up on healthy snacks, I will be tortured by the begging for food starting by 10:00 am until bedtime when I finally lock myself in my room and pass out! Okay, it's not that dramatic, but kind of.
Anyway, an easy fix is to take time to stock my freezer with healthy snacks at the beginning of the summer. I stock up on all the meals, but I just want to focus on snacks in this email. Next week I'll share some breakfast freezer recipes.
Freezing healthy snacks ahead of time:
- Saves me money.
- Saves my sanity.
- Keeps the kids eating healthy instead of gorging on Doritos and ice cream.
So, it's a win all-around.
In this post, I share all of the snack recipes I make to stock our freezer. I'll also give my best tips for everything you want to know about preparing and freezing healthy snacks. Of course, you'll also find my recipes.

I know I mainly talked about making these snacks for kids, But trust me, having snacks ready to eat for me also is super helpful in keeping me on track between meals.
