Spring is here! And our farmers market opens in a few short weeks. And that means lots of fresh, sweet strawberries. You're probably already seeing them pop up at the grocery store, too.
I have a new recipe, for you, too: a luscious strawberry tart. Fresh berries are nestled in an almond-scented cream and tucked into a crisp, buttery tart shell.
Here's why I think you'll like it:
- It's lightly sweetened. There's a touch of honey in the filling, and a bit of unrefined cane sugar in the crust.
- It's simple to make. You'll need a food processor to whip up the crust, but everything else can be done in a mixing bowl. Easy.
- It's delicious. Vibrant strawberries, almonds, cream.
