Have your say: Help shape our work Our CitizenLab service helps you shape the work that we do. CitizenLab gives you an easy way to get involved with our work and share your ideas and opinions. We use it to collect your views, conduct surveys and run quick polls. What you tell us helps us understand the things that are important to you. We can use what we learn to make our services and information better for everyone. When you join, you'll be sent an email when new information or projects are added. You can also sign in to see what activities are currently live and ready for you to take part in.
Be clear on cancer We're supporting NHS England and Public Health England's 'Help Us, Help You' campaign which aims to raise awareness of the symptoms of lung cancer. If you or a loved one have had a cough for three weeks or more and it isn't coronavirus, it could be a sign of cancer. It's probably nothing serious, but if it is cancer, finding it early makes it more treatable. Contact your GP practice if you've had a cough for 3 weeks and it isn't coronavirus. However, if you've got a new, continuous cough, get a free PCR test as soon as possible. | Give feedback on care During the pandemic, it's more important than ever that we hear your experiences of health and social care services that you've used or worked at. You can use our give feedback on care service to let us know about your experience of care - good or bad. You can also use it to share a concern about a service you work for. | Did you know? Email alerts Did you know we can send you automatic emails about a service? This means you can find out whenever we publish an inspection report about your local GP, hospital - or any other health and social care service. You can also choose to be sent information about the inspections, reports and registrations taking place in a parliamentary constituency. You can use this to find out about all the services in your area. Our alerts are sent out weekly and include reports published in the previous 7 days. | Join us! Work for CQC CQC staff have a wide range of skills and work across many disciplines. Find out about roles within CQC, Healthwatch England and the Office of the National Guardian. Benefits include generous leave entitlement, NHS or Nest pension schemes and a wide range of employee discounts.. | Our offices remain closed – please do not send post All of our offices are closed and our staff are working from home. This means that we are not able to receive post. If you need to contact us, you should do it online or by phone. If you work for a health or social care service, do not send completed notification forms, including notifications of deaths, to us by post. These should be emailed to HSCA_notifications@cqc.org.uk. If we have to issue a formal notice, we will contact the provider by phone to discuss. Providers are also reminded of their duty of care to people using their services. For those detained under the Mental Health Act, this may mean supporting people to access the internet or make phone calls if they ask to contact us. | Do you work in health or social care? Make sure you see the latest information about the changes that we're making to the way that we work due to coronavirus.
