Lifespan Waiver Updates & Upcoming Event The comment period for the Department of Health and Human Services’ Lifespan Waiver Application, which ends on May 13 at 11:59 PM, was formally announced by the Office of MaineCare Services on April 14.  This is the public’s opportunity to express support, concerns, or request clarification prior to the Department’s submission of the application to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. In the meantime, we have prepared a plain language version of the Lifespan Waiver Application, which is now available to download on the Lifespan webpage.  We have also scheduled a webinar for tomorrow, Friday, May 8, at 9:30 am (1.5 hours), to discuss the application and to answer questions that people may have.
