Welcome to the Organize Yourself Skinny Smoothie Challenge! I am so pumped to have you here.
Just in case you're new here, let me quickly introduce myself. My name is Tammy Overhoff and I run the blog Organize Yourself Skinny (OYS for short) and also your smoothie cheerleader during this challenge!
Let's get the details out of the way first.
✅ The smoothie challenge starts on January 2nd and will end of January 11th. Of course, I want you to keep going long after that but those are the dates we will focus on!
✅ The goal is to drink one smoothie a day for 10 days. You don't need to change anything else about your diet, unless you want to. Only focus on drinking a smoothie every day.
✅ I curated ten reader-favorite smoothie recipes. You can find links to them and the shopping list below. You'll also get an email each day with the smoothie of the day recipe and some tips.
✅ I'll send some other smoothie 101 information over the next couple of days to get you excited and ready.
✅ This smoothie challenge will run live in the Organize Yourself Skinny Facebook Group. So, make sure to share pictures and cheer each other on.
✅ If you're joining late, no worries, just hop in and start blending!

Quick expectations
π Every day I'll send you an email with the smoothie recipe along with some tips. This email will serve as a reminder and a nudge of motivation. I encourage you to share your smoothie in the OYS Facebook group - that's where the support and extra love take place.
π If you don't want to make ten different smoothie recipes, only purchase ingredients for the smoothies you wish to make. These recipes are meant to inspire you; the goal is to drink a smoothie every day for 10-days.
In case you're wondering, why did I pick a 10-day challenge?
In my experience, ten days is the perfect length of time to try out a new habit; it helps you focus on one thing to get started instead of being overwhelmed by making too many changes at once.
It's long enough where you'll experience the benefits of drinking smoothies, and it'll give you a quick win. Those quick wins build your confidence to keep going with more healthy habits.
On the flip side, a 10-day challenge is short enough that it's easy to commit - you only have to drink smoothies for ten days unless you choose to go longer.
So, 10-days is the sweet spot for jumpstarting a new smoothie habit that will most likely provide a domino effect with other healthy habits.
Smoothies were such a game changer for me! I actually didn't try them until 2 years into my weight loss journey, but wish I started so much sooner.
There are so many amazing benefits with drinking green smoothies but my favorites are reduced bloating, tons of energy, clear glowing skin, digestive support (aka as keeping the pipes moving), and managing my weight. Smoothies have also done wonders for balances out my hormones as I enter my perimenopausal years. Fun times!
Basically, when it comes to the one habit I think could make the biggest impact on your health it's smoothies.
But it's important to be patient and stay consistent. You're not going to see results overnight. Keep drinking that daily smoothie and before long you'll start to feel all of the amazing benefits they have to offer.
