Do you want to positively contribute to the lives of Texans served by Medicaid? The Teleservices Policy Analyst (Program Specialist VI) reports to one of the managers in Medical and Dental Benefits Policy (MDBP) in the Office of Policy in HHSC Medicaid and CHIP Services. The Teleservices Policy Analyst (PSVI) performs highly advanced consultative, technical, and analytical work related to the research, development, and implementation of Medicaid and CHIP medical and dental benefits. The Teleservices Policy Analyst (PSVI) is a subject matter expert in teleservices and must be able to research, analyze, and synthesize complex information, such as current clinical standards of care, evidence-based practices, and peer reviewed literature. The PSVI must apply findings to medical and dental benefit policies in review and when establishing new benefits. This position will lead in the unit's teleservices-related legislative bill assignments, analysis, and associated activities. The PSVI will also manage and support complex medical and dental policy projects related to telehealth or telemedicine for Texas Medicaid.
