The 2018 Volunteering in America Report found 77.4M adults volunteered 6.9B hours. Economic value estimated at $167B. More adults do informal volunteering.

The 2019 American Community Survey estimated 2,009,727 secretaries and admin assistants including 219,808 executive, 51,042 legal, and 58,533 medical.

The 2019 Current Population Survey found 3.97M children in kindergarten. The 2019 American Community Survey found 540,060 preschool and kindergarten teachers.

The 2018 County Business Patterns found 1,532 establishments in hydro-solar-wind-geothermal-biomass-other electric power generation with 14,179 paid employees.

The 2018 County Business Patterns counted 7,091 establishments as book stores and news dealers, down from 8,225 in 2013, a period of five years.

Community College Month: April

In 2019, the Current Population Survey estimated the number of college students enrolled in two-year institutions was 4.3 million, a 25% decrease from 5.7 million in 2011.
