Hello reader
If you haven't come across this particular wrap hack before, I'm excited to bring it to you in this week's new post. It's really neat and ever so simple. Four fillings for the price of one. We've been using it regularly over the last few months for both savoury and sweet fillings. Don't stop reading if you're already familiar with it though. This peanut butter, banana and dark chocolate combination is really good and makes for a delicious and healthy dessert or even breakfast. If you use dairy-free chocolate, the wraps are suitable for vegans. Wraps aside, I've been cooking with wild garlic again this week. The season is nearly over here, so I'm making the most of it. I don't have a recipe, but it makes a delicious mushroom and wild garlic risotto. It's similar to my Cornish asparagus risotto, but I use the fresh leaves rather than making pesto first. I've been out in the garden doing a lot of clearing and weeding this week, but it will soon be time to sow our beetroot and peas along with a few other veg. I can't wait. Our rhubarb in the allotment is absolutely fantastic this year. I've made a few rhubarb crumbles, but also rhubarb compote with the last of my rose syrup. Luckily, it won't be long before the roses are in bloom and I can make some more. Other than that I've managed to update three older posts so that they now have proper recipe cards and pins: And for the gardeners amongst you, this recipe for fat hen and chickweed pesto is popular this week. It sure is fun to make the most of garden weeds. Please do let me know if you make any of my recipes and don't forget to rate them. It really helps to make my recipes more visible on search engines. Questions or feedback on the blog posts are always appreciated.
Keep cooking and stay safe. Choclette x
