Newsletter reading apps and website are a growing part of the newsletter space. They provide users with a single interface to find and read all their newsletters and it's definitely more convenient than sifting through your personal inbox. But is it good for creators? I've had some hesitation about these tools because they effectively become middlemen between writer and their readers. If an app shuts down that reader is likely lost. And it limits writers ability to directly contact their audience. What do you think about newsletter readers? Do the pros outweigh the cons? |
