This eBulletin contains information about the new MSD online assessment tool and how you can register for a live demonstration.

There are also details about this year's 'Risk-reduction through design' awards.

HSE's Risk-reduction through design award 2021-2022 needs your nominations

The award highlights the important contribution that design changes can make to reduce risks of musculoskeletal disorders in the workplace.

There are no restrictions on the sector or size of business that can enter; both large and small employers are encouraged.

The emphasis is on design solutions that have or can reduce the risk of musculoskeletal disorders for your workers.

Nominations should be submitted by 31 January 2022.

New HSE musculoskeletal disorders (MSD) online assessment tool released

The assessment part of the tool is now available to use for free.

The MSD assessment tool is the latest in the range from HSE. It combines the popular MSD assessment guides and has transformed them into an all-in-one digital solution.

It has been designed to simplify the process of completing each assessment, with a logical step-by-step approach, saving your assessors time in populating and interpreting the results manually.

The assessment stage of the solution is now available to use for free and can be accessed online:
